Podere Romitorio, Crete Senesi (Tuscany)
Villa with incredible view
Located in the heart of Tuscany, 40 km southeast from Siena (near Sinalunga), in an area known as the “Crete Senesi”, Podere Romitorio is a secluded old farmhouse built in the 19th Century.
The farm, which features all modern comforts, has been reconstructed in the original rural Tuscan style (of the area).
The luxurious interior mixes modern elements with old Tuscan furniture and the secluded garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Both the house and the pool offer stunning views over the Tuscan countryside.
At Podere Romitorio you have the opportunity to spend dream holidays away from it all. You will enjoy complete privacy here with no other guests to share the house or pool with.
Tuscany villa with private pool
The farmhouse offers 5 bedrooms, each with it’s own bathroom, with total sleeping space for 11 people.
The living area comes equipped with a flat screen television (satellite), dvd-player and stereo with iPod docking station.
The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances: a Miele dishwasher, a large SMEG fridge with large freezer compartment, a SMEG 4-ring gas stove with electric oven, a microwave and a coffee-machine. It also has a kitchen table with seating for 6 people.
Romitorio’s dining room seats 12 guests. Upon advance booking, a local chef will cook an excellent meal of Italian delights in Romitorio. For gourmet dining outside of the home, we would be happy to provide you with addresses of excellent nearby restaurants, specialised in Italian and Tuscan food.
Help yourself to the fully stocked cellar filled with local wines from Avignonesi winery. Live like a true Tuscan and have a bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or world-renowned “50%50” wine with dinner. You will only be charged for what you consume at the end of your stay.
The house has a pergola, an outdoor gazebo, with a stone table and benches for al fresco dining and a wonderful patio with a traditional bread oven.
We can arrange for all kinds of activities such as a visit to the Avignonesi vineyard for a tour and tasting, hiking, cycling, tennis, horseback riding, hot air ballooning, massage, cooking classes, etc.
The house is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
